INSTRUCTIONS: The story we have watched, The Changeling, is a ghost story. This type of stories deal with the paranormal and the fantastic: apparitions, visions, inexplicable moves and actions, noises, voices, etc. None of that can bear the test of science. However some people still believe in this stuff. DO YOU?
Whether your answer is 'yes', 'no' or 'I don't know' EXPLAIN  your mind.

I believe in some paranormal activities because my family and I have noticed strange things in some places but I think they are not always bad. For example, sometimes, when you remember a loved one who is no longer because he/she died, I might come to see you even if you don't realize but there have also been cases on TV in which spirits harm humans because they aren't happy about something that has happened.
One day, I had an experience about this that I don't usually tell. I was at my grandmother's house and I was headed for the kitchen and when I got to the dining room, the dog began to bark at something. I looked and there was a picture moving abruptly.
Although we must also say that if there is no evidence, we don't know if it is true or not. I think that everyone can believe in what they want and we must respect their opinion and their beliefs

I'm Helen, the queen of Esparta and I am the wife of the king Menelaus. I was fall in love with Paris and I decided to run away with him to Troy. For this reason, a conflict between Greece and Troy was created. So, Menelao thought it was an insult to his brother and he decided to gather all the tribes to rescue me from the hands of the trojans and defends his brother. But really, used this to dominate Troya.
The city was walled under the command of the king Príamo and defended by the prince Hector making it very difficult to win but Aquiles decided to go to fight to Troy for his eternal fame and his army was the winner. The next day, they faced again but this time the "prize" was me in which Paris killed Menelao. After many battles, there was one in which prince Hector fought against Patroclo (cousin of Aquiles) and he kill him thinking that he was Aquiles. When he found out, he went to look for Hector for fight with him playing peace and the ending of the war. Aquiles killed Hector in front of his father, his brothers and me. So, Patriamo went to his camp to ask for the body of his son and make a ceremony. There was his niece Briseida (which they considered dead) and was released. Aquiles told the king that they gave him twelve days of peace out for respect but this didn't meet.
One night, they decided to go to Troy and they got to enter the territory burning everything. Everything was a tragedy but finally Aquiles died by the hands of Paris.

TASK #8: About the film MATRIX

INSTRUCTIONS: 

1. Retell the story in your own words.

2. Do you think there are layers of reality that only a few of us get to see? Explain, please.

3. How does the main character, Neo, remind us of the figure of Jesus Christ?

1.-Neo at first was an employee of a company but also a hacker. He try to with Morpheus and his team to find out the truth of what was the Matrix and the humanity.
People think that the life was real but it was a virtual reality simulated with a system (Matrix) but for Neo it was very difficult to accept and understand.
He woke up to the real world and was in a capsule where he was used as an energy source for the Matrix.
He was released by Morpheus in his ship and he explained to him that he has been living in a world that wasn't real.
The machines has taken the control of the world and they weren't in 1999 but in 2199.
People are no longer born, they were only artificially cultivated.
Morpheus believes that Neo is the one chosen to defeat the Matrix and liberate the underground city where those who escaped are found.
After a fight and the return of Neo to the life, Smith was expired and began the hope of showing to the people a free world of the Matrix.

2.- Yes, because in our life there are a lot of things that for example, only us can see or have like a job, a house and other needs that here can be easily obtained but, in other parts of the world, the people don't have this and can't live properly.

3.-  I think that Neo has some similarities to Jesus Christ like resurrect.

TASK #7: My Review of the film 'Lo Imposible'

This film is one of my favorites because it shows the union that must exist in a family in these cases. It's true that there are some scenes that I would not like to have seen such as the bloody ones but it is reality and was part of the suffering that happened in the tsunami.
Obviously, my favorite character has been Lucas, because at all time he has tried to help his mother and all the children who during the catastrophe lost their relatives.
I recommend this film because makes you get into it and probably will make you cry.
And finally, I would like to give it 5 stars.

Well, when this disaster was happened, I was there and I remember that I was in my house and everything began to tremble. I was with my parents and my brother but the scare frightened us all. I wanted to leave my room but I thought that it would be better to stay in it because if I moved, I could drop something. But my parents had the cold blood to think fast and run away from there. When we get to street, there were a lot of people in it with their families and one thing that I will not forget, was to see little children crying for their relatives trapped and without hesitation, we quickly went to help those affected. I know that I am young but in those moments, I think we needed each other. That is why, among all, we help to the emergency services to rescue our neighbors. This earthquake we will never forget and now, you can still see ruins.

TASK #5: A BIG NATURAL/MAN-MADE DISASTER

LORCA EARTHQUAKE
This natural disaster was in Lorca, Spain on 11 May 2011 at 18.47h where an earthquake destroyed the city. It had a magnitude of 5,1. This movement was noticed also in Almería, Albacete, Granada, Jaén, Málaga, Alicante, Ciudad Real and Madrid.


Lorca is the most active seismological zone in Spain.
The epicenter was situated in the subsoil of Barranco Hondo in Lorca and the hypocenter was about 1,000 meters deep.


It has been estimated that the earthquake was a result of a tear failure close to a major one (The Alhama of Murcia Failure). This disaster development the same power as an explosion of 200 tons of TNT.
As a consequence of this, were affected the public buildings, the housing and the historical heritage.
The disaster left 9 dead and about 324 wounded and many people lost their homes.


To help them, the population needed help units like sanitary, firefighters, volunteers, military emergency unit, civil protection services...


Today, if you go there, you can find some remains of this great catastrophe.
Sincerely, to see these cases, I always end up impressing to put myself in the skin of the victims. I think that the people must help each other because you will never know when you may need such help.

I have been using a surrogate for the last three months. I have used it for almost 90 percent of my waking time. This is what I have noticed that has happened to me, physically and mentally.

On the positive side, my safety was guaranteed in any circumstance, it was comfortable by the fact of not having to move to go to the places, I could feel the same, I saw some handicapped people can live like the others, surrogates can get where people can't...

On the negative side, I never knew who I was really talking to, my health got worse because I didn't do exercise, sometimes you can fool other people with your appearance, criminality grew up...

My conclusion is don't use it unless it's absolutely necessary because if you use it all the time, you could be fat and when you want to get up, your muscles probably will not work.
For example, you can use it in a war and nobody will die.

TASK #3:  (About the film The Surrogates)

                      Agent Greer has to decide whether he wants to save the surrogates or not. He has already saved the operators (people). The other man is asking him to push the key YES but Agent Greer takes a few seconds to decide. What's he going to do? What may be the consequences). WRITE the end of the story.

I think that the man is going to press the button but something fails and all the surrogates died. So, the world return to normality without these.

I think that teachers can learn from Erin Gruwell, because she tried to do her work the best way at possible to make the lifes of her students something better and get their own studies changing the normal operation of the classes. For example, doing some games to socialize the students and to avoid racism and other habitual problems.

The students should learn from Erin because she is a reference of them after all teaching she gave and the life she was carrying (she gave everything for her work).

Education authorities should know that if a student has any problem in the school, they have to try to solve it and if for that they have to spend more money, they have to do it to get a better education for their students, because they are the future of the country. And also, they should be more empathizing with them.

START LIKE THIS: My name is Erin Gruwell/Eva Benitex. I am a teacher/student at a very complicated school in Los Angeles.

My name is Erin Gruwell. I am a teacher at a very complicated school in Los Angeles.
All it started in my first day there. I thought that it was going to be a normal day but it was not like that.
When I arrived, I found a big problem with racism.
One day, a student was shot at a gas station and it was terrible, but I thought that I should do something to change the way of thinking of the boys. So, I recommended them the Anna Frank's book. Another thing, it was the game called "The line". It was just a questionnaire where I asked about the events of each student, and the truth is that I was excited to see everything that happened to them. Then, I set out to make a diary and if they want, I could read it. And finally, all collaborated.
When I read all the diaries, I proposed an excursion with my students, but the department didn't give us money for it. So, I thought about working in another job to save some budgets.
My husband didn't think that it was good for me and our relationship.
The boss of the department finally gave us his permission to go there.
Then, we went to one museum where told stories of Jewish children and the students were very surprised. We also went to a dinner with people who were in Jewish areas. It was then that it began to change their behavior.
When the course began again, we did a party for the change and we started to read the Anna Frank's book. When they finished, I spoke them of a woman who helped Anna and her family. So, my students wanted to met her and we prepared an event to save money to bring her here (because she is from Europe and the trip was very expensive). She came here and told us her story.
It came the day when Erin had to go to the court. And finally, the next day, she stayed with me and I could give her class.
The school year ended, and my students wanted me to be their teacher in the third course but couldn't do nothing because that didn't depend on me. So, I tried to do something and I went to talk with the education authorities to ask them that favor. After a long meeting, I could be their teacher during the third and the fourth courses.
